10 YEAR AGE PROGRESSION 2023

Forensic Artist, Hew Morrison, reached out to Shelley (Emma's Mother) and Kimberly (Advocate) with an offer to assist in the investigation.

After viewing the Victoria Police age progressed drawing of Emma at the 10 year anniversary, Hew offered to take another look to produce a second composite, with a focus on a more photo-realistic age progression image of Emma.

The new image was released in April of 2023, as part of the third preview for upcoming docuseries, Barefoot in the Night: The Search for Emma Fillipoff. ( view preview )

THE MAN IN THE GREEN SHIRT 2024

Bayberry Films enlisted forensic artist, Hew Morrison, to study the available surveillance footage, working alongside Kimberly Bordage and Shelley Fillipoff, to produce a NEW digital composite image of The Man in the Green Shirt.

On May 27, 2014, an agitated man wearing a green t-shirt, sporting a pronounced limp, and sleeved tattoos, walked into a clothing boutique in downtown Vancouver, with a bad attitude, and a crumpled up missing person poster of Emma in his hand.

Surveillance footage of the Man was released to the public, but he has yet to be identified. Police are still looking to talk with this man.

Bayberry Films released a third, 22-minute preview for docuseries, Barefoot in the Night: The Search for Emma Fillipoff ( view preview ) which highlights the unresolved story of The Man in the Green Shirt, and a new initiative put forth in the hopes of breathing life into this old, yet compelling lead that is still a possible link in Emma's case.

Four reels have been produced to highlight the 2024 Emma Fillipoff Search Initiative - The Man in the Green Shirt. It is critical to share to help this initiative.

“This investigation needs just one person with the right information to come forward. If you are the person known as, “Green Shirt Guy”, if you know who he is, or if you have any other information related to Emma’s case, contact the Victoria Police Department, or report anonymously through Crime Stoppers.” — Det/Cst Bob Illes, Lead Detective / Victoria Police Department

“I thought this was really well done. A very rigorous, thoughtful approach on how to develop a more usable image of what this person may look like, versus the grainy CCTV footage that we’ve relied on thus far.” — Dr. Michael Arntfield, Criminologist

“I hope that when this image is released to the public, through this documentary and hopefully through the media, that someone is going to recognize this man and come forward.” — Hew Morrison, Forensic Artist / Consultant

“I believe that re-visiting the story of the green t-shirt man will spark renewed interest in my daughter's case. I have long felt that this man could be a valuable source of information in Emma's disappearance.”— Shelley Fillipoff, mother of Emma Fillipoff
